VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Volunteer Legal Services Hawaiʻi welcomes both attorneys and law/paralegal students to become volunteers. We offer a variety of pro bono opportunities from in person advice and counsel clinics to answering legal questions online. We allow attorneys to apply their legal expertise while accommodating their schedule, availability, location, and interests. Volunteer Legal Services Hawaiʻi welcomes you to be part of our volunteer pool of over 200 Hawaiʻi licensed attorneys!

We also welcome law school/paralegal students as interns throughout the year. The student volunteers are exposed to a wide range of legal topics and client contact by assisting with intake, workshops, and clinics. Law students draft case summaries, research legal issues, and work on resource material development.

Please join our ʻOhana to help achieve equal access to justice for all! We need your help and cannot do it alone. Please click below for various pro bono opportunities. If you have any questions, please email volunteer@vlsh.org. Mahalo for your heart to volunteer and give back!
