Neighborhood Legal Clinics
Neighborhood Legal Clinic participants meet one-on-one with a Volunteer Attorney for approximately 45 minutes. The Volunteer Attorney will discuss your case with you and provide legal advice. The Volunteer Attorney may refer you to further legal services to help you resolve your issue. These clinics are by appointment only and are generally held every Thursday evening, and on the first and third Saturday morning of each month.
Additionally, Volunteer Legal Services Hawaiʻi knows it may be difficult for clients to make it to our downtown clinic. Throughout the year, Volunteer Legal Services Hawaiʻi will hold its Neighborhood Legal Clinic in different cities to make it easier for Hawai'i residents. Volunteer Legal Services Hawaiʻi has held its "Pop-Up" Legal Clinic in Waiʻanae, Wahiawa, Waimanalo, Waipahu and Kalihi Valley in the past. Last year, Volunteer Legal Services Hawai'i also held "Pop-Up" Clinics in Honokaʻa, Hilo and Kona on the Big Island. Please keep an eye out for announcements of future "Pop-Up" Legal Clinics.
